1. Introduction
Welcome to Owodoh ("we", "us", "our"), operated from the United Kingdom and accessible at owodoh.com. By using our website or booking a cleaning service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Owodoh is a marketplace that connects homeowners and businesses with independent cleaners.
2. The Service
Owodoh provides a platform for booking residential and commercial cleaning services. Cleaning is charged at £20 per hour with flexible duration. Our AI matching system pairs you with an available, verified cleaner based on distance, availability, rating and suitability. We act as an intermediary and facilitate the booking.
3. Booking & Payment
When you book a clean, the total fee is calculated as hours × £20. Of this fee, 85% is paid to the cleaner and 15% is retained by Owodoh as a platform fee. Payment is taken at the time of booking confirmation. A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provide.
4. Cleaner & Client Responsibilities
Cleaners are responsible for performing the agreed service to a professional standard. Clients must provide safe access to the property and accurate information about the cleaning required. Both parties agree to treat each other with respect. Any dispute regarding service quality should be raised with Owodoh within 48 hours.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a charge equivalent to one hour of cleaning. See our Refund Policy for full details.
6. Verification
We verify cleaner identities and endeavour to maintain quality through ratings and reviews. However, Owodoh does not guarantee the performance of any individual cleaner. You use the service at your own discretion.
7. Liability
Owodoh is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from the actions of cleaners, except where prohibited by UK law. Our liability is limited to the platform fee portion of your booking.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
